March Snowstorm

we got about a foot or maybe a bit more than that, in about 2-3 hours. this is the next morning. and in true colorado style, by about 2 days later most of it was gone.

jj propped planks of wood against the fence to try and protect our poor arborvitae - last year in a spring snowstorm they really got damaged. this seemed to help a lot.

march madness!!

hey! my number of weeks have surpassed the number of days i have left!

in honor of the march madness festivities, thought i'd take pics this week with my NCAA Final Four basketball! (even tho im mad that neither the buckeyes nor the boilers will be in the final four - GRR!)

look, its the same size as my tummy!!!

jj has tummy envy. he chased kai away, but i almost got a pic of kai sticking his face up under jj's shirt to inspect it.

and in news that probably no one cares about, i have been on a mad quest to find a vera bradley baby bag (as in, doing my mad comparison scouring the earth and internet research that fills up pages in my notebook, takes my whole day and keeps me up at nite... just ask jj) ... and finally found this one (its the same style bag mom has)! they discontinued the bag style several years ago, and back when the patterns werent nearly as cute... so after stalking ebay for a week, i finally found it in a cute color! it even still has the tags on!

34 weeks

booor-ing... just one pic. im getting lazy. the tummy is starting to look like a torpedo... and i still have over a month to go!! oh look, theres kai AGAIN.

we took our hospital tour over the weekend, and filled out pre-registration paperwork. the hospital was huge and confusing, so im glad we got a chance to "test-run" before the big day!! hopefully jj remembers everything, since i'll be a little incapacitated!

baby shower!

my wonderful mother and sister (in law - but thats a technicality) threw me the BEST baby shower! oh, i should say they threw fergenjaegs a shower... they worked sooo hard, cleaned and decorated and cooked and planned games - and it was the best shower ever!! mo even made me a diaper cake!!!! i will post more pics, but i wanted to get this cute one up asap :)

32 week update!
