27 week tummy

oh dang it, the cord's still on the camera!! 27w on the nose.

not much to report - he's getting more and more active it seems, sometimes he kicks me so much in the same place i feel bruised! all i have to do is call for jj to come see, and he immediately quits ;)

week 26 - our 5 year wedding anniversary!

jj is the bestest husabowand EVAR... he's taking the lobster meat out of the tails for me because i am allergic to touching the shellfish!!! (i can eat it, just cant touch it!)

counting the years, the weirder number is the 13 1/2 total we've been together... eek! and still not sick of each other! ;) my moment of sentimentality is to say that i honestly love jj at least 200x's more now than the day i married him. awwww...

week 25 pics!

this is a 270degree update! keyser is a weirdo and stands there watching me take my pictures every week... he's literally in every picture this time.

heartbeat

after about 2 weeks of futile efforts with the stethescope mom brought from home,

I FINALLY HEARD THE HEARTBEAT TODAY!!

im going to be a crazy lunatic now that i know where and how to place it... i could only hear my own blood moving (very strange whooshing wheezing sound) in most places but especially on my left side... but fergenjaeg's heartbeat is a very clear pounding noise, very fast - and on the lower just right of center of my tummy. my pants waistband holds the steth in place (if i hold it, all i can hear are my finger joints cracking constantly! ew!).

i tried every square inch of my tummy and finally found it! YAY! and im sure by the time jj gets home he will have moved! :P

UPDATE: i found it again for jj!! it was much fainter this time, but he was able to hear both mine and fergenjaeg's at the same time! they are almost in synch, with his twice as fast as mine. sounds like background rhythm of a song!
