and tj's newest trick - omg he's pre-walking. bought that booster seat today, put the box on the floor for him to play with, and boom he just started walking around with it. ??!!

dawning of a brand new TJ...

the last 3 days we tried something new... putting him to bed at 8:30. short version: first nite, he cried for 2 hours. :( sad tj. second nite, he cried for about 30 min. last nite, he didnt cry at all, was asleep by 9, and slept til 8:30 this morning!! YAY TJ!!!

what a big boy!!! on one hand exciting, on the other, STOP GROWING SO FAST!!!
this is his very first time standing up in his bed - i looked over and YIKES time to put the mattress down!! he even took a few little cruiser steps.
he's been pre-crawling for a while, sort of a "crawl crawl bellyflop legkick crawl crawl bellyflop legkick" kind of thing, looked like "the worm" from the 80's... but now he's really crawling with tummy off the floor, all the way across the room. i had to roll his pantlegs up cuz he kept slipping on the hard floor!! his poor little knees... he needs some kneepads.

more video to come of his jabbering... he "says" other stuff! but the timing has to be right (ie he says baba, but only when he wants his bottle! and "mmmmmo" but only when hes nursing...more??!) i SWEAR im not imagining it!!

his newest trick: he can now go from tummy to sitting up all by himself!!! he's so excited... he does crash a little at the end but he was fine :) haha he's pretty tough about stuff like that. its sleeping he screams about.

he's right around 15lbs now... he had been sleeping through the nite like a champ for about 3 weeks, and has now reverted to getting up several times... hopefully this is a short lived phase and he'll be back to sleeping the nite again soon. hes trying to learn lots of new skills, which is probably why hes up a lot and needing to eat a lot. and needs mama a lot!! ;)

we've been to 3 more football games, and he LOVES them!! and he loves his ergobaby carrier, sometimes i have to carry him in it ALL day long because its the only place he's happy. but he's starting to get better (and less frustrated as he gets to be more mobile - he's precrawling) about entertaining himself - he likes the exersaucer and his arch with the toys dangling from it, especially the inflatible ball with the little ball inside. it drives him CRAZY!!!
